|
"Thank you for Smoking" is about as satisfying as a good cigerette after sex. The feeling of contentment or disappointment maybe felt from its participants. Either way the film demonstrates the power of language. It shows that if you are good at talking you can prett much get yourself anything you want. The beauty in this movie is combined with adult humor and makes you reexamine your state on issues and the way you see the government. We all know that smoking is bad for us but like anything else should it be condemned. It is a guilty pleasure just like alcohol, sex,or porn. The use of tobacco, alcohol, and guns have become a huge issue in the public eye. This film demonstrates that through language people can be precieved differently from what they really are. I liked it and while others may not find it to meet their expectations I believe it to be a very well thought out movie. Your opinion of smoking may not be changed but the very way we see tobacco excutives might....

What do you do when the person you trust most is hurting inside and there is nothing you can do to help them. and the thing that is hurting them is the unknown........... Life is screwy one day you are perfectly all right and one or two things go bad and then all of a sudden something hits that you have no control over and bam your back in the hole desparately trying to keep your head above water and the ground is giving out right underneath you. well i just want to let her know im here for her whatever she needs and i know there is nothing i can do but just be there and talk or just listen but thats where im going to be right there.................

Today we salute you, stressed out college student, during exam week. As you sit in your lonely cubical in the library, doped up on Starbucks & Aderol, you think to yourself, 'am I ever going to need to know this stuff in life?' The distractions are tempting and you have suddenly diagnosed yourself with ADD along with advanced delusionary schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage. I'm sure by now you know exactly what everyone is doing because you have checked your buddy list 800 times. Spring Break is just days away, and your Prozac prescription will be in tomorrow. So crack open an ice cold Bud Light after that last exam, because for most of us, next week will be spent in rehab.

11:30 am - Bomb Threat of a Day
|
So this morning i wake up at 715 as usual to go to my 8 am class up in ellis and it was roped off with a police officer standing next to it. So i walked to the other hill grover to see if i could get up that way no so im like shit what way should i go to english and than i learn that there was a bomb threat at the oasis so the building my 8 am class is in is closed no 8 am class score but other than that my 5 page research paper that has been driving me insane and creating lugage under my eyes has been pushed back one more day with much rejoicing so all in all im good no one was hurt they took down the ropes and all is clear no present danger except for my calculus test coming up on monday and the day is just peachy have to work tonite but it should be fun ttyl

So tomorrow is the dreaded day of many because it is too commercialized as a couples only day but im excited valentines day has no rules and the people that think it does are closed minded and should buy stock in hallmark. Tomorrow symbolizes caring for one another and being cared for... not just sexually but emotionally. So this is day not only for lovers but for friends and family to really appreciate one another. So even though I might not have that one special someone it doesn’t meant that I can not participate. SO too all my friends that have been there for me when I needed to talk or were on the phone when I got home sick I love you!!! You guys are the best and I could never ask for better friends. Life is not life if you don’t have people to share it with. So thank you all and I hope you have a special day even though some don’t have that someone we are all trying to find.....

One famous superbowl to me was when my mom and brother bet and she was winning so we went to kmart because he was pissed.... lol jay dont bet on the superbowl.... anyways today i guess is the slammies and of course i cant be there because im at school which is good but i hope they have a good slammies i remeber when i thought that up we were sitting in the austintown plaza because we had just come out of the dollar stores and we called nick demain the former owner and asked him what he thought my brother and i laughed my ass off when we first thought of it but those were the good ole days well about to go to the market for some refreshments for tonite ttyl

|

Had a rough couple of days. Two days ago i woke up with a sore throat ate some alphabet soup which made a come back 4 hours later and let it be noted that its not fun to have the letter A stuck in your nose. so i slept through the rest of that day and sorry to hoover and pit for not going sled riding but i was throwing up when hoover called. Anyways the next day i go to the dr and he says that i have a sinus infection and an upper respiratory infection double wammy and there is nothing really to do for my throat except suffer for the next three days yay just what i wanted but hopefully i will get better but im suppose to go to another dr and make sure the bacteria is being killed and the best part of this is that im on medicine that can kell me yay if i feel like im going to die more than this i have to go to the hospital just what i wanted! but im feeling better and am fully medicated so im going to lay down
